Description Another piece from the flashacrd series. In my studies I found that Aesop of Aesop's fables was a slave of African origin(hypothesized). With that in mind his stories were added to the stories used in the series.

Enjoy!!
The Crow and the Jug
A Crow, half-dead with thirst, came upon a Pitcher which had once been full of water; but when the Crow put its beak into the mouth of the Pitcher he found that only very little water was left in it, and that he could not reach far enough down to get at it. He tried, and he tried, but at last had to give up in despair. Then a thought came to him, and he took a pebble and dropped it into the Pitcher. Then he took another pebble and dropped it into the Pitcher. Then he took another pebble and dropped that into the Pitcher. Then he took another pebble and dropped that into the Pitcher. Then he took another pebble and dropped that into the Pitcher. Then he took another pebble and dropped that into the Pitcher. At last, at last, he saw the water mount up near him, and after casting in a few more pebbles he was able to quench his thirst and save his life.
Little by little does the trick.

Your watercolors are absolutely gorgeous! I've been trying to teach myself watercolors for awhile but I keep resorting to digital art because it is easier for me, seeing yours is an inspiration to try again!

Why Thank you!! I am going the digital route now as well. Watercolor is pretty unforgiving and when it comes to working with clients, it can be a bear of someone wants a change or you mess something up. So I am working on my digital stuff now full time. And I have stopped using my watercolors to promote myself. Which sucks because it is my best stuff. Hopefully I can achieve the same level with digital that I have in traditional mediums. We'll see!!

It's Crow! I remember Crow! But in the story I remember, Crow was a girl...

But yeah, I liked Crow. Fox was pretty sly too.

My favourite Aesop's fable was the one with the sun and the wind. That's a pretty jug, and Crow's tail is pretty long in this one too!

Cool.
