Not anymore, I don't think. It was produced a few years ago. But every now and then it gets orders and gets re-released to stores. SO keep an eye out!

Come on man, where's the illustration for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers!!! Especially for the 2002 team, man what a defense. Anyways, lol. Really awesome work. I love how the molten steal really glows.

LOL! Well I din't get assigned that team to execute! I was very proud of this design at the time! I wasn't too proficient with Photoshop and this was my first CMYK color rendering. (We use channels and greyscales at work largely.) I'm still not too proficient with it matter of fact. LOL! We just keep on growing, we hope anyway! Thanks again man!

Man, if you did that while not to proficient in photoshop. . . I'm not even sure what to say. The illustration is amazing. Again, the molten steel looks so cool. Maybe photoshop is more your true calling than watercolor ( I hope not though, I absolutely love your watercolors and always look forward to your next one ).

I hope not too!! I want to find a way to get the watercolor look in Photoshop, but no luck so far. I get a lot of that type of freelance, the more realistic Photoshop, my bread and butter. But it's not my passion and not anything that I would put up in my portfolio, which is why you see so little of it on here. And a lot of that stuff can be deceptive, it's a lot of photomanipulation and stuff. We call it Frankenstein-ing. taking bits and pieces of various references and combining them with stuff we actually do to create a final image. While the kids stuff is all me.
Been so long since I did a watercolor I'm scared of how it would turn out!! LOL!!

While your photoshop work is amazing I hope you get to work more on the art you're passionate about. Hopefully the SCBWI can put you in contact with people that can get you freelance doing art you're more passionate about. Whether that be illustrating children's books or watercolor design work for animated movies I think working in your "Wilson" style will have you inspired up the wazoo and enjoying creating art more in your day to day art career.

It would be soo exciting!! I hope the same for you! I'm blessed that I get to work on art everyday. But the thought of working on artwork in a part of the industry that I love just makes me giddy!!

I KNOW!!!! I'm so looking forward to the day when I'm working as a professional working children's book illustrator. One day. . . one day *sigh* (thoughts of future amazing life going through my head).
I am really really looking forward to getting started. July 15th can't come soon enough. And, I'm ordering my text books and recommended reading for the classes next week. I'm going to start reading them even before anything is assigned. If you told me I'd be reading books for school even before I had to back when I was in high school I'd never have believed it. I'm thinking with the guidance of the professors my work will improve exponentially. I really can't wait for that!! So yeah, I can't wait (giddy even), thanks again

LOL!! No problem!! I actually work for a company that lic. the NFL, so the graphic was one of a bunch done in a similar style for all the NFL teams. Steelers just happened to be my favorite one of the bunch!!
