Even though I’m not entirely religious - this is very, very true what you say. It's just like Christmas, A baby was replaced by a fat guy with a beard in a red suit, which was originally blue or green (can’t remember which) but Coca-Cola make it red! That’s how commercial it is now. xP Ah well, I love religious holidays cause it brings my family together.

I think it was green, Lozzay but yeah, if there's one thing that gets under my skin, it's forgetting the reason we HAVE holidays. What is Memorial day now? A day to barbeque and watch football. What was it SUPPOSED to be about? A day to remember all of our dead servicemen, dying for our RIGHT to watch football and grill steaks.

Valentine's day, though. That holiday shouldn't exist (and no, I'm not saying that cuz I have no significant other. I'm fine without a cling-on). Though I've made my V-day views VERY clear XD

You see, presents and candy don't LAST. They bring joy for a very short time. The sort of joy Jesus and Easter is SUPPOSED to bring lasts. So....yeah x_x

Personally, I love Easter. It's a family together day for us. We color eggs, read the Easter story from the bible, have a big dinner.....very nice. It's similiar to what we do for Christmas, except we don't color eggs We put up and decorate the tree together then.
