Rosalie's part in Eclipse was so good, but also really sad... I liked that very much, so this is why I made this picture.Hope, you'll like it.

Only that if Bella did die, she wouldn't care. I know tons of people like her and feel for her, I very much want to like her and sometimes I do. But then she will say something and just can't bring myself to. I do like seeing her here with Alice and Bella: [link] . I found it kinda screwed up that the reason Bella had to call Rosalie for help is because Bella knows she is the only one who would let Bella die so the baby would live.
In all her year's, I don't think she has learned very much at all. I do think she is very much needed and I understand why. I actually did like her, up until the vote. It's not because she said no, it's because of what she said. "I'm sorry. I'm really sorry to both of you for how I've acted. And I'm really grateful that you were brave enough to go save my brother. But this isn't a life I would have chosen for myself. And I wish that there had been someone to vote no for me. So no. "
To me, that's a major slap in Carlisle's face. (If I remember correctly, when Edward and Carlisle are discussing if they should "save" her, Edward says no. He didn't want Carlisle to. )
Right away she uses her new state of being to get revenge. Then is very bitter about being a vampire. Then she finds Emmett and again uses her abilities that come with being a vampire to save him, falls in love with him, but that's still not enough. Yet it was her being a vampire that she was able to save him. I wonder if she (possibly via Nessie's influence) will ever realize life would be much easier for her (and those around her)if she would just accept this is her life now and let go of all that bitterness. She say’s to Bella,” That's what I miss the most, the possibilities.

OK, there are still so many possibilities! Look at how Carlisle uses his time. If she can not eat them, there are so many volunteer program for kids and with Carlisle for a reference, she would have no problems.
The other part of this, if she wasn’t a vampire, there would be no Emmett.
That's more or less what Alice had to do. She doesn't remember her life as a human, she has accepted who she is and moved on. Sure, still curious and most likely has her sad days, but she doesn't dwell on what could have been and she's found her way in life. So much so that she was able to show Jasper a better way of living. Including being able to show him what real love is.
To then say that if they all had happy endings they would be in their graves, is just slapping his other cheek. I think she will always be vain, that just seems to be her, but IMO if she stopped fighting life and flowed with it she would be so much happier.
As for that "grave" comment, Esme seems happy where she is. Edward was lonely and a bit depressed, however I never got the idea that he would have rather died. Especially now with Bella and Nessie.
I love the face that while Emmett deeply loves her, he feel completely free to speak his mind and opinions, even if they differ from Rosalie's. He too seems fine with what he is. Given his physique I can imagine him loving the extra strength.
I’m not sure if you have seen Practical Magic, but there is a line in there that I find fits Rosalie perfectly. “ You can't practice witchcraft while you look down your nose at it.”
That’s exactly what Rosalie does with the abilities she has as a vampire.

Wow, I don't mind, that you got carried away, I liked reading your opinion and I agree with a lot of parts of it.
It is the same with me, that sometimes I like her, and feel very sorry about her life, but sometimes she can be such a bitch (sorry about the word).
After reading Eclipse, and watching the movie many times I still feel sorry for Rosalie, but there’re times, when I just want to slap her on the face.
She shouldn’t have die like that, but in a way she got a better life after it (and perhaps a chance to be a better person), she just can’t see the brighter side of it, because she is too stubborn.
At first I didn't like her, because she was so unfriendly with Bella with no reason (okay, I know she said later, that she wants to be a vampire, but when her relationship started with Edward, she didn't say anything like that, so Rosalie's behavior was pointless...). Not that I like Bella that much, but she didn't do a thing against her.
I think she is a good example, that maybe they are vampires (in a way, predators), but they are still humans as well. Rosalie with the things she want so badly, but she knows, she can never have, it's a typical human act. And her selfishness with Bella, and her being ungrateful with Carlisle, who actually saved her, etc.
I must confess, watching and reading the voting scene was a little shocking for me. Okay, I understand her point of view, but after all those many years, she could be a little more nicer with Carlisle. I'm sure, he felt himself terrible after changing her, there's no need to remind him, because he can never forget it.
I agree with you, when you say, there are many possibilities, even if they’re vampires. Carlisle is a good example (but the others found their own ways too, Esme with the interior design, Edward with music, etc.). I’m sure, Rosalie could use her time too.
But what she meant by saying possibilities, I think it was the choice of having children, and create their own family. I know, it’s hard to accept, that she can’t have her own kids, it must be terrible, but if Esme could accept that, then Rosalie should do it too. After all, Esme already knows what it means, to be a mother, because she had a baby. She has more right to be upset about this whole situation, but she is not. And this is one of the reasons why I admire Esme the most of the Cullen girls.
Perhaps Rosalie will change a little, if she spend more time with Nessie, and then they can live their life in peace. But I don’t know if she could do that… Stephenie Meyer should give us a little information about their life after Breaking Dawn

I think you used the correct word for her! lol I agree that no one should ever have to experience what she did. Sadly, for men and women, it's a crime that's all to real.
And you are exactly correct, she got a much better life after as a Vamp. No way Royce would ever love her like Emmett. Personally I think Royce never cared for her, she was just the elite of the elite and he was too, so it would only be natural for both families to have one marry the other. No doubt he would probably beat her often and being high society at that time (even still) it would just be swept under the rug.
With the no vote, she definitely could have gotten her feelings out without putting Carlisle on that guilt trip. To quote a friend,"Sure she can fix a car and fight, but she has no special anything besides being a complete BITCH! She will never appreciate what she has because she will always think about what she doesn't have, nothing will ever be good enough. Like when she said she was jealous because Edward chose Bella over her." Not that she had feelings for him, but that he could find Bella better looking than her.
There are parts of her when I can see just how strong she could be, but then she opens her mouth and starts whining.
As for Esme, she is such an amazing woman and a perfect companion for Carlisle!!!
