Valentines day is just another way of making money out of people.
As for me I have been single for aeons
and I LIKE it.
Maybe one day I'll find myself a partner but the idea doesn't appeal atm.

I never had a specific reason to like Valenrtine`s day until now, but even before that I felt it worth remembering. Suposedly Valentine was a saint who joined a commener and a noble girl together because they were in love, and the saint was hung for it. He risked his life for their love and it was taken, it`s like a celebration to his 'gift'.
I looked for the backstory knowing there had to be something and got this. It may be wrong it may be right, but either way it seems most people who don`t have someone to celebrate it with think it`s dumb. *shrug* which is a shame. I use it to thank all my close friends as well.
