I've seen quite a few feather paintings before but I haven't seen anybody paint across multiple feathers before. It takes a separate skill altogether to get glue to behave like that!

Truly a lovely design! The neon effect in the background contrasts so well with the black, and the detail is done very nicely.

Thanks! It was tricky because I wanted to show the backlit effect of the wings, but on these dark feathers, a blue sky is hard to make look right.  I like to keep the dark background for the most part, so had light shining through the trees to light the back of the feathers.

Yes, I use an acid-free bookbinding glue to keep the three feathers together.

truly incredible, and I mean it. 
Painting on feathers in an art not many can master but you, have not only mastered it you have pushed it over it's limits ^.^

There are quite a few other feather painters, many of whom do extraordinary work. Jennifer Miller (nambroth.deviantart.com/ ) does beautiful feather paintings.
