It's been so long, I know it was 99% without eraser (just not coloring in the lighter area to begin with) but I may have used one to fix it if I made the lightest area too dark.

Thanks. yeah it's hard for omeone like me cuz I'm used to photoshop where you can do all your coloring and shading and slap all the highlights on at the end. but with colored pencils you constantly have to think about the highlights from the beginning.

Wonderful use of color. Very vibrant. Jumps off the page. The color is the best part of this picture. Not to say the rest is shabby, it's just the strongest element I see.
Dragon is very well drawn. Cartoony, but what's wrong with that? Hell, some of my stuff is cartoony, too! The style is very similar to my own cartoon style and so I definitely dig that!
Kind of plain negative space. Would love to see this guy in the clouds or something, not just floating in space. Other than that, great work.

Thanks, I was actually still practicing just the rainbow color on this piece, which is why this dragon doesn't look as good as some of my other ones, but I do like the idea of making one in the clouds. I'm actually more of a Photoshop person so rainbow coloring in colored pencils on a detailed realistic dragon kinda intimidates me... especially because with colored pencils you have to be aware of the highlighted areas from the beginning rather than slap them on at the end like I'm used to.

And how many people do you watch?

I dunno, it's in my gallery stats if you wanna look, I'm sure I have it enabled. Well at least you have a SUB to look through all of 'em with. me, I have to click every single link if I want to see them all, which I usually do. :[

top quality art colored pencils, expensive as crap! (plus the colors have weird names, like tuscan red and terra cotta... I like the simplicity of roseart color names)
