I am so happy I made this one
Ikaros is my first griffin and I have more pics of him on my desk, ready to be color. but I havenΒ΄t made up his personalty yet, I try to found some facts about the griffins but it is hard or maybe not....I could always study more feline animalas and egales.

I love this animals, it is sad there arenΒ΄t famous as the dragons, (there is nothing wrong with dragons) but the griffin deserve more attention.

Guardian of the hidden treasures the griffin or gryphon dominate both the sky and land.

-Dragon Food

-Vicious beast that needs to be killed by a chest-beating adventurer

-What the heck is a gryphon?

All of these need to be changed... particularly the first two. >.<

Something needs to be done, I havenΒ΄t draw gryphons for a while now because I Like to become even better drawing lion bodies and wings, it wasenΒ΄t that easy I thought

yes, you're right, the griffon really deserves much more attention from the whole fantasy-society. If I go on the streets and ask people about dragons, I get hundreds of answers. But if I ask about griffons, I just get one answer: "WHAT?! What the HELL is a griffon?!?" and that makes me mad >.<

hahaha that is correct that is why I like to start something diffrent, I mean there are a lot of wolf comics ( ) and dragons ( them too) and when all are doing the same thing, it happens that people get the same ideas, but I like to be orginal,

This time I use only the pencil to the lines without inking. It turns up pretty good.
