Description
I wanted to try do more different body types since I’ve always wanted to do more heavier dragons so I did some mom bods! I added some extra little sketches of these gals being mamas.

Phoenix: I’ve always imagined Phoenix to be on the heavier side with a very thick body, she isn’t ripped or anything just is a bit more naturally thicker then most Eternals. This practicing was also an excuse to finally get her design finalised.

Soo SPOILERS for chapters in Eternals if you haven’t read it!

Some of you may wonder why Phoenix apologised to Whirlwind so out of the blue (there will be something in her POV in the future to also explain this) and it’s basically because, after staying alone for so long with only plants for company Phoenix got to reflect on her life a lot and started to realise maybe she really wasn’t a great parent. Phoenix herself didn’t have a good relationship with her mother either when she was young and when Bluemoon and Topaz rocked up to her door to leave a dragonet with her Phoenix had no clue how to look after a dragonet… she wasn’t even prepared for something like that! She thought looking after the strange dragonet would be temporary but she soon realised that her half sister wasn’t coming back for it and with no parental experience apart from how Phoenix was treated with she started doing the same. She had to go to work anyway with another mouth to feed so she’d abandon Whirlwind for the majority of the day and come back late exhausted and definitely not in the mood to play with a hyper dragonet…

Snowdrift: As you can see I was attempting to make this gal quite muscular, I always imagined this since I think Snowdrift (like most soldiers) would still keep up to shape as if it’s ingrained in their minds from minor shell shock or from vigorous training back in the rebellion or loyals. She’s also a bit shorter then most her age and a bit of a thicker stubbier tail to give her the more stocky look.

Snowdrift’s and Icicle’s relationship is actually really good! Except for one thing… like most parents Snowdrift wanted to shield Icicle from reality as a dragonet (and still somewhat does) but for a long time Snowdrift was still morning over Champion and struggling to try find some way to provide for Icicle because of being an exile. This meant Snowdrift would cry to herself a lot when she believed Icicle was asleep or away but tiny Icicle did sometimes observe her mom’s crying sessions which made Icicle start to feel that she couldn’t open up to Snowdrift fully as she thought her mother already had enough to deal with. This then lead to Icicle not telling about her struggles with her bullies at school and the unfairness the other Eternals would give her which then gave Icicle her tendencies to keep everything to herself when’s she’s struggling. And with then Icicle’s bullies saying it’s her fault why she gets picked on Icicle then internalised it and started to believe that everything bad that ever happens around her is her fault.

Anyway that’s some stuuuuuffff! Hope you like and please tell me if I’m actually achieving what I’m trying to pull off I’d like to here!
