Description
It had been a long and tiring night, exhaustion making your knees shake and eyes droop. With a defeated snort, you fall into a light slumber, occasionally waking up to check your surroundings for a potential threat. Soon enough, the sun begins to peek over the horizon, its warm rays blanketing you with light. Stretching, you blink the sleep from your eyes, yawning slightly. What do you decide to do?

The river that murmured nearby lulled Hessarion to sleep until he finally fell asleep. The next morning he was awakened only by the sun shining in his face. He was covered in snow like everything around him. His mane was caked with frost and snow. He stood up and shook off all the snow and ice he was covered with. He stepped out of the thicket of bushes and looked around. The sun was almost at its peak and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. His legs were no longer stiff and tired and therefore he was able to move without pain. As soon as he was fully awake his stomach began to drink food and his mouth water. The food, however, was hidden under a hearty covering of snow and was certainly not nutritious. In the mountains, however, he had learned a little trick that would relieve him of his hunger for a time. He would come to the river that divided the forest and lean towards it. At the first gulp of water his mouth freezes unpleasantly and his teeth ache from the cold. But once he gets used to the freezing cold, he starts to suck the water into himself. He drinks it until finally he is completely full and can drink no more. His stomach, which is full of water, stops begging for food and settles down for a while.
