i did this a couple of years back, when i was still in the school newspaper in high school. Our editor-in-chief wrote this sad story about a boy and a girl looking at the sunset on the beach. it was one of their special places. they had been best friends since childhood, and they loved each other, really. anyway, the story was really short--it was just about the both of them emo-ing at the beach since, the boy was dying of an illness.
the boy died on the beach, just as the sun went down.
the end.

His story was published. My painting wasn't, since they'd LOST it in the pile. i found it eventually and took it back. meeh. at least it gets some love here, yes?
