UmeToday I went for a drive with my family and saw a lot of Japanese apricot trees in the mountains.

I love the composition and focus of this shot - you captured the blossom/buds so beautifully! I thought ume translates as plum though, does it also mean apricot?

Yup as you say mostly ume is translated as "plum", and sometimes as "Japanese apricot"

I'll be there from March 16th - March 30th, for a school trip. Its been my dream since I was very young to go to Japan and now I finally am. I'm very excited. I love sakura!! I'm even more excited now.
