Description
According to Norse mythology Gerd is a frost giantess whose beauty is compared to that of Freyja. She 'seemed to be made out of light' and 'when she raised her arms everything grew brighter'. However, I imagined her to be absolute Freyja's opposite. Freyja is a goddess, whereas Gerd - giantess (although not all giants in Norse mythology were huge and hideous). Also Gerd is thought to represent cold winter months. So having that in mind, I decided that Gerd should be of a darker nature.Related content

I see them as opposites too, but Freja is dark and Gred light. By the way Freja was from Vanaheim and not Asgaard, so one could argue that she neither was a propper goddess. And since all of the Norse gods in som way or the other is connected with the giants or jetun it's just a slip of hairs.

We all see them differently, so it's fine. I think it's because I'm from scandinavia and in my head northern girls are light ( I know it's not all, my self inclusive) so I combinde the north with light and cold, and south with dark and warm

yes, that might be the reason. But this concept is based more on geographical settings, whereas I imagine their inner feelings and so on. But nevermind that. As you said, everyone imagine differently.

Odin himself was a Jotun as he descended from Buri who was reported to be a frost giant. So therefore All giants are Gods in some regard, but there are evolutionary differences between different Gods.

Food for thought, most of the Gods are half if not more giant themselves (Thor the great slayer of Giants has more giant blood in him than God). I think the distinction between Gods and Giants, is more like saying someone who is Canadian versus American. 
On the artwork itself, I love the rich and sumptuous colors.

Jeigu pasakyčiau, kad mane ganėtinai pribloškė, neišreikščiau, nei apgailėtinos daleliūkštės pirmo įspūdžio. Tu žiauriai epic nupiešei fantasy priklausantį personažą, kuris yra ne Loki, nėra labai gerai žinomas ir nuvalkiotas ir looks absolutely beguiling.
