I don't know how many of you have heard of "Warriors", by Erin Hunter, but I just finished the first book, and this was one of my favourite parts, it isn't a major part or anything, just a little tidbit that made me happy^^ Ravenpaw is a black cat, kinda shy and jumpy, but he's training to be a warrior to help protect his cat clan with other warriors ^^ I enjoyed this part because Ravenpaw comes back from hunting with an adder in his mouth, kinda suprised by his own achievement, and, of course, the little guy is proud
Done in watercolour, with a bit of pencil crayon and black ink pen.
Worked on it for about 8 hrs.

Thanks! the snake's end result happened a bit by accident. I made a mistake when I started coloring it in, but by incorporating the mistake into its design I got a better result than what I first intended. A happy accident.

I don't know how far along you are on your vid but if you'd still like to you may use this pic in it, as long as the picture gets credited back to me.
I'm not sure if I'm the one to ask for cat drawing tips, I have two cats at home and I like to use them a as a reference. I usually largen up the eyes and draw high foreheads on cats to make them look younger/cuter. It also seems that a cat's facial features are all somewhat scrunched together, like you'd draw all it's features on the lower half of it's head if it was looking directly at you.
Nice to meet another Ravenpaw fan! I've only made it through the first book, so I'm really falling behind.

Ohmygosh!! It's RavenPaaaaw! He is my favourite! ^^ I loved that part, it made me really happy. RavenPaw is strong apprentice, it's a shame *spoiler for book one* that he left the Clan. I'm gonna get TigerClaw... <.< He's so strong, I wish he could at least get a warrior name. It's shame he'll be an apprentice forever, in the clan or not. When, really, I think he deserved his Warrior name before FirePaw and GrayPaw. I don't see them catching adders... (No offence to them.)
