The Underdark is full of amazing things.
Myconids.. I love them.
definitely adding them on to my list of races that I want to play in a game someday( to be fair though that list kinda includes the whole monster manual.)

Mycondis are a fascinating lot. Remember seeing them in BG2 when I was ten. The concept of 'fungus people who are largely peaceful - if isolationist - and spend one-third of their days in a form of shared-dream-state' is strange and oddly endearing at the same time.

Yeah! I just think they're super neat! plant humanoids are interesting and mushrooms have such cool and interesting varieties! " monstrous" races of all types fascinate me
