so it seems that you had not much trouble from sandy... good to know... to be honest, i was a bit worried, when i heard the news of big sandy approaching... and other pictures i saw from NY looked quite bad...

yeah, so good for you and still so bad for others... as i said, i've seen some heavy pictures...
the strange thing for me is again the odd power that comes from some pictures, for instance a whole fleet of yellow cabs standing there, the water up to their windows - it still has a sort of surreal beauty (which one can only enjoy when not being directly involved in those circumstances...)
yes, you'll be back to work soon i hope, i know how much you are dependent on that...

I'm in that neighborhood... I'm nearby... Well... up on 212th Street. Been known to walk from Paulding and GunHill to Burke and then on Burke straight up to CVS (old Pioneer store) on WPR (if I'm in the mood for physical activity...

I enjoy Bronx Park East....lots of nice side roads
walking straight down burke...
over the bridge....sometimes I walk to the D train to get to work
in the morning .It's a nice walk to get me going.

You go through the Park, right? If I'm lucky enough to have the stamina, I find myself on the path parallel to Webster going towards 204th Street baseball field. But you're right... It's a nice walk. Anyway, thanks for sharing the pic. It's a nice wake up call for me. Wish you could come and take a picture of the fallen limbs in my yard.
