The ditto-kami has no shades and shadows cus the transformation is supposedly NOT completed yet.

When the Kamis began to unleash their fury on Pokimono, SenGensou happened to be in Dark Forest Village. Much of the inhabitants managed to get away. Most of them were ninjas after all, skilled in the shadow arts and were very good at escaping. Being part of a ninja clan, the first thing SenGensou did after reaching Noir Vale was to send a message back home through its messenger Keimo. Its entire family were part of the ninja clan and it wanted to confirm that they were fine.

Keimo was very skillful in teleportation. It was not long before SenGensou received news regarding its clan. The clan was doing fine. After all, it WAS located in an secluded spot. In fact, they were more worried about SenGensou, especially since the Pokimono Region seem to be taking the burn of the Kami's fury. If it was not due to the fact that they were the clan leaders, Sengensou's parents would have liked nothing more than to be with their eldest child.

SenGensou had sighed when Keimo finished relaying the message. It wished that its parents would stop worrying. Was that a selfish or selfless thought? SenGensou played with that thought in its mind as it led a group of refugees through a path which was under the cover of some trees which had been spared the brutal assault of the Kamis. SenGensou really hoped that Keimo was with it right now, however, the young kadabra was depatched to lead large batches of people who were further away from the safe zone since it could use teleport. SenGensou found itself worrying about Keimo. Keimo had never been good at fighting, what if it encountered some troublemaker? Would he be safe? What about the friends it made and the people it met in Pokimono? Were they alright? All these thought made it very restless. All of this caused by the Kamis'fury and the kami's fury, caused by someone whose identity was a mystery.

SenGensou: Say, why are the kamis so angry?
Someone amongst the refugees(1): I heard that someone vandalized their shrine...
SenGensou: In that case , shouldn't they go after the person who vandalized their shrine instead? There is no need for such widespread destruction.

Someone amongst the refugees(2): *whispers* please do not seek to anger the kamis anymore than they already are, SenGensou-san/ Ninja-sama.

It was then when they saw it.

There was a flash as lightning streaked across the sky, seemingly piercing through it. A loud clap of thunder followed suit.

Someone amongst the refugees(3): *somewhat frightened* I-it's Thundurus.

SenGensou: *grimly* And judging from the time lapse between the flash and the thunder, I would say that it is almost upon us.

SenGensou looked through the trees and saw the kami. It looked so powerful, so magnificent. and so... phantom-liked. For a moment, SenGensou's curiosity got the better of it. It could have just transformed into Keimo and then teleport everyone to the safe-zones, but it did not. It wanted to know why the Kamis were so angry. Although its transformation skills did not allow it to read another's mind, it was possible for SenGensou to feel the emotions of those who it transformed into. It aided it during its missions, maybe it would aid it again. There was also another desire lingering at the back of its mind. To transform into a spirit, something which somewhat resembles a god... what would it feel like? Surely, there would not be another chance for it to find out... And if it was as powerful as the Kamis, just for a few seconds, maybe it could even ask it a few questions face to to face!

There was no more time to think, the next instant, one of the lightning bolts which was raining down from the sky hit the trees, setting them on fire and destroying their cover. They were in plain sight. The spirit glared at them, its stare, menacing and full of rage.

SenGensou: *turns back to face the refugees* Continue down this path, you'll reach safety in less than an hour's time. I'll distract Thundurus for you.

Refugees: N-ninja-sama!!

SenGensou: Hurry!

Before anyone could utter another word, it sped off. It found a somewhat well hidden spot and started to focus. The shape of the Kami become imprinted in its mind and it could feel the essence of the magnificent being. However all of these seem to have caught the Kami's attention. SenGensou knew it because it could feel the Kami looking at it. It was most weird for normally, people would never have felt the connection which dittos made before they undergo a transformation. Immediately, it dodged, the lightning fired by the Kami narrowly missing it. However, even though SenGensou was a fast ninja, the Kami, being a spirit was even faster. In a flash, it appeared behind the ditto and struck with its claws, causing the ninja to crash into a tree.

SenGensou winced as it tried to get up onto its feet as fast as possible. The pain was worth it. For when the kami made contact, it had managed to hit it with a dagger which had a blade lined with stun spores. Its effect was evident for the Kami's movements slowed down.

Even though its arm was bleeding where the Kami had struck it, SenGensou was feeling too ecstatic to feel it .It was seldom reckless, but risk had a certain allure to it. It began to focus and started its transformation once more.

At once, it could feel the tremendous power of the Kami, flooding and raging through its body. It was overwhelming, but at the same time, it felt… incredible. The feeling was electrifying. It was as if wind and lightning now flowed in its blood. Never once had SenGensou felt so powerful. Around it the wind continued to howl, but it no longer felt like a gale. The storm was nothing more than a breeze. Then, the Kami’s rage exploded in SenGensou’s mind. It felt like flames, licking and burning its soul. The rage of being disrespected, of being forgotten. SenGensou was an experienced user of transform, even thoughit was not easy to overcome the kami’s rage which was clouding its mind, it managed to push aside the anger. Anger is after all, still a very common emotion even if it was present in large amounts. It was the tremendous power which bothers it more. The power was much larger then that of any gijinka/human which it had transformed into, it was not easy to hold the power in.

Sengensou looked up to look the Kami in the eye. Thundurus was narrowing his eyes. He doesn’t seem amused. He gestured to the sky, causing thunderbolts to rain down upon the transformed ditto. Startled, SenGensou tried to repel the Kami’s attacks. Drawing upon the massive power of the Kami, it fired a huge blast of energy at the thunderbolts as well as towards the Kami. It was not what SenGensou has intended to happen. It has released too much energy in that attack, draining it of valuable energy. It was still unable to fully control the massive power contained within the Kami. This attack, hoever, was not in vain for the Kami began to hesitate. SenGensou seized the chance to ask him the questions which were on its mind.

“Why, did you do this? All these people’s lives whom you destroyed, those people whom you killed… they were not the one who damaged your shrine!”

The kami stopped. He looked at the Thundurus before him. He thought of the massive energy released just now. Was that how he looked like when he was raging?

“Why not just seek out the one who did it? Great and amazing power… ought to be used for great and amazing purpose…”

SenGensou was finding it harder and harder to maintain the transformation. Out of the corner of its eyes, it saw that the refugees were no longer in this area. The Kami looked thoughtful, as if he was turning some thought over and over again in its mind. Then he turned and left. SenGensou was surprised by the Kami’s abrupt departure, nevertheless, it was glad that ti did not have to face the Thundurus alone. It then transformed back into its ditto-self. As the power of the Kami left with the end of the transformation, it felt very empty all of a sudden. All the damaged it has taken before seemed to have returned with the pain being ten times worse than before. Oddly, there seem to be a bit of the electrifying power still left in it, just like the bitter aftertaste chocolate may leave in one’s mouth. Too tired to care about that, SenGensou tried to t transofrm into Keimo so that it could teleport to safety. It then realised that it could not muster enough energy for a second transformation. Too exhausted to continue walking, it sat down somewhere within the shade of a tree.

“ At least there’s cover here… I really shouldn’t have done this… Leaving myself alone and vulnerable… how unwise… Keimo will be worried if he didn’t see me when he gets back… and my family will worry if they don’t hear from me… they’ll all be sad if something happens to me out here… but the refugees did managed to get away… “

“So was I selfish or selfless?...”

Unable to fight back the exhaustion any long, it allowed the darkness to engulf its mind…

AND… that must be where Haruta found Sen after that. Fuhuhuhu. When I wanna write I can still write up quite a huh?
