I drew this for the clothing catalogue where I work... The version on the left is what I submitted which is what is currently shown... Long story short, I had scanned the coloured linework I did and used pencil colouring pencils on a photocopy of it which was meant to be a test. I wanted to compare it to a second version I ended up not doing. No one asked me to do two versions, that was all me wanting to try out something different. The version on the right is me wanting to redo the colours on the original drawing using a combination of markers and colouring pencils. I originally wanted to do the second version I didn't get to do but changed my mind as I thought the initial "test" might put my original idea to shame so, I just strived to combine both markers and pencils hoping to make the result even better. Is it? I don't know. I like things from both versions. Part of me was tempted to make more changes with colours, etc. but I'm only so much crazy...

P.S. Since scanning always results in some loss of colour... I usually play around with the hues and contrast before uploading any file... For both of these files, I cranked up the saturation more than usual because I loved how this cat looks with enhanced colours.

Update: The version on the right is the one now in the catalogue. That is all. [meant to be read in Seymour Skinner's voice for some reason]
