They were introduced to me by my friend, Jonothan when he let me borrow, From Roots Above and Branches Below and they were pretty good.
For my persoanl tastes though, I wish he sang more and screamed a little less.

I like the Devil Wears Prada, but yeah it would be cool if they sang more. But, I'm fine with the screaming too. I guess it's all what you like.

Don't get me wrong, screaming rocks but sometimes it's nice when there isn't screaming and a band is still bad-ass.
But then it sucks when the screamer isn't good at all.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Screaming is good, just at a point it gets to be too much. I can handle (at max) what TDWP puts out. August Burns Red is a good screamo band but I can't take all that screaming. (They don't sing). And yeah I don't like it when the screamer isn't good either.

Yeah, when I heard TDWP CD, From Roots Above and Branches Below, I went on the computer and any song with screaming annoyed me a little. Even if it was a song I really liked.

winter-ame In reply to SomethingSmall [2009-11-18 06:46:20 +0000 UTC]

Really? Any screaming? I used to be afraid of curse words, and screaming about 4 years ago. I wouldn't listen to Green Day, nor bands with little screaming like Bullet For My Valentine. Eventually, that kind of music is all I listen to. lol. I wonder why it would annoy you with a little screaming even if it was a song you liked.

SomethingSmall In reply to winter-ame [2009-11-30 02:46:15 +0000 UTC]

Oh, you misunderstand. I really do like screaming it's just that at that moment screaming annoyed me. If you're not used to a lot of it and then you get hit by an overload...well, it gets on your nerves.
But no worries screaming is still beast. Of course, I'm with you as far as being afraid of screaming when I was younger. Hell, I think I'd terrify a younger version of myself.

lol. Guess I did. I see now. Yeah, I know what you mean about getting hit with an overload when your not used to it and then it annoys you.

Yeah screaming is beast. lol. Yeah, I think I would scare my younger self too. I'm just so different then I used to be. XD

ah, it makes me sad whenever I think about how I used to be. I'm so different now too.

Me too. Though I do kinda miss wearing girly clothes. I don't really now. lol. Kinda miss me as a kid, though I could ditch the idea of my mom dressing me. XD

SomethingSmall In reply to winter-ame [2009-12-07 00:59:01 +0000 UTC]

Being a kid was so much easier. There were no complications and worries and you didn't care about looking cool. All you wanted to do was play, have fun, and watch your favorite cartoons.

winter-ame In reply to SomethingSmall [2009-12-08 06:35:17 +0000 UTC]

Yeah. I know what you mean. I didn't care at all what other people thought I look like. Now I at least want to look decent. Don't really care how people think of me, just decent. lol. Miss watching cartoons too. All the good ones were taken off the television.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SomethingSmall In reply to winter-ame [2009-12-09 02:50:15 +0000 UTC]

Ah, I agree with you as far as looking decent. I don't care about looking good, my clothes just have to be comfy and I have to actually like them and feel good wearing them. No brand names either.
Dude, thank you! All the good cartoons were taken off! Now all they show is annoying cartoons that aren't even funny and are pretty stupid.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

winter-ame In reply to SomethingSmall [2009-12-12 08:27:14 +0000 UTC]

Yeah. The only thing that I wear that is 'brand name' is my jeans I got from my friend ('Cause I'm cheap like that) and my Band T's if those count. XD Yeah, and they have to feel comfy.

Your Welcome. XD I know, all the good cartoons were taken off. I miss shows like Invader Zim, Power Puff Girls, KND, Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Ed Edd n Eddy, CatDog, Angry Beavers, ect.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SomethingSmall In reply to winter-ame [2009-12-15 01:41:44 +0000 UTC]

I'm not sure if band tees count as brand name...in a way I guess they do but...then again not.

Holy hell, Invader Zim, Powerpuff Girls, Grim adventures, CatDog, all those shows were the bomb. I miss seeing them. All they show now is annoying, stupid shows.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

winter-ame In reply to SomethingSmall [2009-12-15 06:31:21 +0000 UTC]

In a way they band T's count. But technically they're not brand names. XD

Yeah, those shows were so awesome. I agree, they're only annoying, stupid shows. Even the good ones became stupid (ie Spongebob). D: I wish the good shows would come back. I was happy when that Ed Edd n Eddy movie came out. Made me happy and watched it about 4 or 5 times. XD

SomethingSmall In reply to winter-ame [2009-12-19 22:29:07 +0000 UTC]

I know right? It's just that they're not "popular" anymore. But they should have a channel where they show all those old shows. Like Boomerang. I'd watch that all the time.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

winter-ame In reply to SomethingSmall [2009-12-21 08:10:24 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I wish there was a channel like that. I could watch Courage The Cowardly Dog on Boomerang, and they show Ed Edd n Eddy/Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy every so often on Cartoon, but a channel would be awesome. They don't nearly show those show enough just because they're not "popular".

SomethingSmall In reply to winter-ame [2009-12-24 04:37:43 +0000 UTC]

it sucks. Not being popluar is not as bad as people make it out to be and being "popular" doesn't really mean anything.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

winter-ame In reply to SomethingSmall [2009-12-25 09:23:33 +0000 UTC]

It really does suck. Agreed, 'opular' really doesn't mean anything. Some of the worst people/shows are 'opular'. D:

Yeah, they're awesome. You got to see them? Were they good on stage too? Didn't see them at warp, I saw Senses Fails instead, because my friend mom wanted to see them. And like I said before Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over is meh favorite.

they were so great on stage *_* their last song was Danger: Wildman and the crowd freaked out completely xD
but i was a little afraid cause im so small and i was standing near the stage x'D but it was totally worth it ._.

winter-ame In reply to Mietschie [2009-10-29 05:39:09 +0000 UTC]

Danger: Wildman is an awesome song. Great! Now the next chance I get to see them, I will. Don't want to be dissapointed in a band that I love. I can't get near the stages at any concert. D: Don't want to get caught up in those moshes. Almost did seeing Saosin, and backed away seeing Escape The Fate. Still seemed liked you LOVED The Devil Wears Prada's concert. Awesome. I love bands that are just as awesome, or more awesome, on stage as they are in the studio.
