Description Falling, falling, rising, falling
The leaves flutter under the wind’s playful touch
A small bird perches on a nearby bough
It fills the air with its soft singing.

Singing, singing, calling, singing
A voice across the plains answers back
The sun shines low on the western horizon,
Painting the sky with a watery dusk.

Flicker, flicker, twinkle, flicker
It tries not to lose to the starry night sky.
A beetle tickles its way up my arm
Then disappears on the wind, flying away

This peaceful place
So gentle, so homely
I come here often – whenever I can
Just to hear the music on the wind,
To escape from the complicated clutches of my world,
My life.

The magic that glitters,
That whispers in the wind
Calling me back, whenever I’m not there
This place is a shadow of my world,
This peaceful place – It’s my mind,
My innocence.

I agree with Katflutterby. Very cool. If you want to put any pics on, including the drawing that goes with this poem, give them to xza and Ill scan them in if you want, put them on cd so you can submit them!

That'd be great Flick, but I may be able to do it this afternoon, since I'm going to mum's anyway.
