Ib fan art. Poor Mary.I had a bad headache this whole day, but coloring this had kind of a soothing effect for me. :/ But my eyes started hurting a few minutes ago, and I think I've been staring at the computer screen for too long. xDDD
Constructive criticism is appreciated, please.
I'll be happy with any advice that helps me improve. ^^ I'm worried that this might be too bright, actually, but I dunno. xDBy the way, Mary took some paint and made herself hair extensions. ...I'm sorry, I realized the hair was too long too late...

I think it looks adorable~!!! and soo~ pretty and pure it gives that "hopeful melancholy" aura (if you know what I mean ^w^' ?)
My only thought is maybe you should have added words she says when she goes away (like goodbye forever or whatever she says -v-') in a light , but visual color
like maybe the same color as her dress maybe.. ^v^ ?

I think you are right that the background may be a bit bright :S and the other weird thing is how the green gets on her blond hair a bit >.>...I don't know if it was intentional, but :S I don't think it works here.
