hHWUH YOU ACTUALLY DID THE THING- I did a double take when I saw this in my inbox like "nahh that's not- WAIT, THAT IS" and proceeded to make a series of gross noises.
I love this omg, you drew his fishy face SO GOOD, and all of those spots too! I didn't think anyone other than me would have the patience for them holy crap. This is actually the second piece of art Goliath has ever gotten too, so I'm really happy you picked him and that you like my freshwater kids! I love 'em lots and I need to give them more of the attention they deserve as soon as possible.

HONESTLY IT was between him and one of your catfishy frigs but I figured prehistoric for prehistoric c; The spots were actually sort of soothing?? I just needed to remind myself they didn't need to be 100% perfect to the original ref and it wasn't that bad LOL I am so glad you like it, he was a blast to draw, I may have to doodle him again in the future with a certain two headed plesiosaur c;

YEAH NO I wouldn't expect anyone to try and get them EXACTLY the way I did them because I'm a nut and just had to painstakingly recreate the exact spots that're on the two tigerfish he's based on, H. Vittatus and good ol' H. Goliath, and although neither of those were around until way after plesoiosauria, Goliath himself is really frickin' old for any one vertebrate like gosh soggy son, chill. I've gotta write out his history some time soon now that you've got me thinking about him like this again omfg.
