Another late upload.I've had mixed emotions while drawing this. I was going through a lot at this point in time, and I couldn't help but tear up a bit in the middle of working. Although in the end, this reminded me of many great memories.

It seems like you did the right thing and push through while working on this; most of the time when I tear up during art, I usually quit and leave it. No kidding, I have a piece I didn't touch for almost 9 years when I started crying in the middle of it.
That aside, you did an extremely wonderful job with the coloring and tones on this! This looks exactly like something I expect to see when walking into Barnes and Noble on a bookshelf. Please do keep it up.

Aww, thank you so much! I'm not sure when I'll be drawing with this style again since it has changed a lot, but who knows.
That's a very long time. It's difficult not to remember the memories attached to that particular drawing, but then life moves on regardless.

You're welcome! It was eye-catching either way; I think what really stuck out of me is the flat-like, texture look you have going on. Looks more like a traditional piece of art now that you think about it.
Indeed; at least both of us moved on. I did finish mine, and also did a digital version on top of the sketch (sorry if it seems amateur-ish; I have a ways to re-learn how to draw certain things).
I saw some other cool stuff in your gallery, I'll be checking them out!
