Hi hi! I wanted to make a drawing to remember the pine tree kanji shape. A pine tree is Matsu:松
For this type of tree I wanted to draw based on a chinese white pine.

On this wiki:松 - Wiktionary it says that it is composed by " 木 (“wood”) + phonetic 公 "
Here I followed the strokes order: This kanji "松" means "pine", "pine tree" (jitenon.com)

To remember, we can consider the way a pine tree needles grow, quite parted, separated, 八 looks like that idea. The lower part, 厶, looks like the cone of the pine, or at least til center which mirrors upper shape. !!!Although!!! That is not their meaning, just for remembering the shape. "A tree that have parted needles growing, and that produces cones".
