Bwah ha! Ok, I promise, no more Silkens for a little while xD These were made for my layout on FP and supposed to be functional… but since the idea didn’t really translate into the layout well, now all they really do is satisfy this weird desire to have an army of mini silken windhounds o_O;Ahem… anyway, I tried to keep the colors fairly accurate to actual dog colors, but it’s by no means fully accurate or even complete. Since silkens come in every color, there’s a huge amount of combinations, there’s no way I’d fit them all on one screen without driving someone insane (I’d probably be the first to go mad xD ) So, these one’s are just my faves :3

omg I love these little guys. I remember seeing them on your kennel page a while ago and thought it was so cool. I'd love to do the same for some of my dogs, but most of my breeds only come in one or two colours, hehehe. Ah well.

Hehe, thanks! Yeah, it's a bit more interesting with a bunch of colors xD A while back I was thinking about getting back into american white shepherds and doing something like this for them... then I thought about the blinding white blob it would leave on the kennel page xD

This is a really weird far-fetched idea, but maybe for FP, you could use the appropriate color as an icon for your Silken on FP? Like in a summary of your dogs or something.. I know I'm horrible at explaining, lmao.

Lol, that makes perfect sense, that's how I've been putting them to use so far, and they have a little genetic/breeding description on scroll-over ^^ The problem I've been finding is that the scroll over doesn't seem to work on macs (at least not on the ones at school). Plus, it takes a bit for them to load depending on how many dogs I have at the time, which if ok for the computers that I use, but I can imagine the pain it causes to those with dial-up XD

Haha, thank you xD Well, I wouldn't use more than a few at a time. Mostly I just wanted a more visual way of viewing my dogs without having to constantly click back and fourth to see things like their genetics. So, when someone scrolls over their little image they see the genetics, breeding status, level (and of course visually the color/gender). Er, hope that made sense xD

Hehe, yeah, just seeing them together is neat, like a dog colored rainbow :3 Gotta love those long color descriptions, I especially love the long ones that visually look really simple, kinda a funny irony xD
