Description

After Gwen became The Hunter Chrissie lost contact with her ally inside the fishing town. This friend had been Chrissie's eyes on Collin Shepard. She made sure the ritual that transformed Gwen was a success and then helped her escape, but she missed her next rendezvous with Chrissie. Desperate to find out what had happened to her friend, Chrissie risked everything by sneaking into the fishing town.

This friend's placeholder name is, "Tamara." Her father was a Dutch castaway-turned-resident of the New England/Medieval Europe-like fishing town while her mother was one of the Samoan-like Tama people mentioned under Morbid Curiosity .

In her search for Tamara, Chrissie ran afoul of Shepard. A chance encounter with the town's true leader, a powerful man even Shepard deferred to, saved her. The townsfolk referred to him as "The Templar" (there's no other name for him in my notes) and called him "Father" when speaking directly to him. This "Templar" was immediately charmed by the adventurous woman. Chrissie was always terrible at seduction, but didn't have to do much to secure his protection against Shepard. He wasn't stupid; he knew more or less what was going on, but he was infatuated with Chrissie, intrigued by the situation, and amused by Shepard's consternation. Though she'd heard stories about The Templar and knew he could be ruthless and cruel, Chrissie thought the rugged older man was handsome, charismatic, and fascinating. Spending time with him might not be so bad...

But she still needed to find out what had happened to Tamara.

Behind-the-Scenes: 66 hours rendering, 2125 iterations... There's minor postwork only - slightly adjusting contrast and levels. But this was also a test - possibly using Chrissie's shape for Delilah , a demoness from my Layla & Ysabel setting.
