As I said under All The Toys one of the character packs that goes into Ysabel's Genesis 3 shape is P3Design 's Adele and it would be nearly perfect all on its own for Ysabel if I'd ever stop tinkering with her. But once again I felt compelled to do some tinkering with her shape and the more I use Adele's texture, the more I like it for a modern Ysabel.If you look up pictures of Jessica Alba posing as Jane Russell from The Outlaw's famous promotional art you get a good idea what I aim for in Ysabel's visual portrayals. Jessica was one of my early inspirations for what the character should look like (mostly from Dark Angel, the first season) but the actress herself seems like such a sweet person I can't imagine her actually in the role. Or anyone for that matter.

Cool. Jessica Alba was also the inspiration for one of my oldest OCs, Shana Daniels, and from her days in Dark Angel as well. Just haven't found a place for her in my more recent story works lately. I think Shana's on a fiction vacation for lack of a better way to put it.

I'll have to compile a list or draw a map or write an essay of who all and what when into Ysabel - because there's a lot and its actually fascinating when I look back on it - but Jessica is so easy to come back to because of the warm ambiguity in her features.
If you enjoy writing and your Shana's a fun character to work with don't do what I did with Ysabel and put her away for fifteen years or however long it was.
