Description Andy (animefancy-mmd ) figured I need more Tangled in my gallery, and he's absolutely right.Β
I See The Light is hands down my favorite song from this film, next is Rapunzel Knows Best.

Out of all the Rapunzel models, this is the one I like the most. So soft looking and more natural. I wanted to focus on Rapunzel's realization of how precious Flynn is now to her: she's amazed, grateful and in disbelief at the same time. Another reason is, I didn't want to show Flynn's face because the face of his model isn't appealing to me. I'll have to edit him for my future Tangled renders. Pascal is there somewhere but I figured he'd be too distracting.

Credits: Disney, Shaka-zl , 0-0-Alice-0-0 , animefancy-mmd , Katsura-chan , tomochan1999 , MMDRoseEvo , Nakao and me.

You've stayed truthful to one of the greatest scenes ever told in "Tangled." It's like I'm literally putting myself in that moment where they both see the lights together. Honestly, this scene still gives me goosebumps. The effects are played off really well. It almost looks like the scene right out of the movie. It makes me want to go and watch it again!

Anyway, the lighting is perfect, the pose is so natural, and Rapunzel truly looks like she is looking into Flynn's (or Eugene's) eyes. I think that the only thing that I would include more of is the lights. I'd maybe put in some more lanterns, maybe create a brighter background behind the characters. Other than that, it is perfect!

: I'm not that fan of Tangled but I liked this movie a lot. Analyse and write a crtique mainly on a 3D art, well... first experience. I'll be straight on it and close.

vISION:

It's clear what I see here but the problem is, lack of background. Rapunzel's face is really beautiful and focused in the best pose. The shadow and lighting were well positioned. I'm not comparing the film with the art but, even I knowing of this scene, some people will ask theirself where the characters are, since, simply this is a fan art and we not know what the artist want mean when he makes his masterpiece...
Wait, is there Cartesian Coordinates?

oRIGINALITY:

Tangled is a already made idea, so I decided just look what you did to make the art. Removing this scene comparing with the film, what called my attention was the way you modeled the characters... well, mainly Rapunzel. Her face is very beautiful and different from the original artworks. Lips, eyes and... everything. You did simple modelling and looking closely on the textures... not well rendered, mainly Flynn's clothes and Rapunzel's hair not well detailed, but, overall, happy colours... it looks a little a game of a Playstation 2. The geometry is simple (I don't know why but it also remembered me a little games of the Nintendo 64 with basic modeling), however I not link how much you use to model the characters as long I can see clearly what was modeled.
Your Rapunzel's face and modeling looks better for a video game, without doubts.

tECHNIQUE:

I not discuss much about technique, every artist has his own technique, if, course, meets what he speaks and did.

iMPACT:

So romantic, sensitive and sentimental even with few elements and no background and even people not knowing about the film. Also an art like this one would be a great wallpaper for my desk or cellphone, an art that I not would discard.

I'm extremely grateful for your detailed critique. Yes, the models are not very detailed because they did originally came from a game and were simply ripped for fanwork use. I'd appreciate it if you critique more my work, nonetheless, thank you

: Perhaps, if I find something that call my attention... I'll do it. I like do these things because I am focused and close on what have to do (doesn't matter if I hate that art, or the character, or the person, or if I like the character, the person, well... or anything else), however, I not noticed that it was ripped. Have you really worked one day on model the characters by your own?

So far not yet, developing original models is an arduous task. But I have started creating a few of my own.

: The good way to create your own arts or anything else is start with something that already exists. I followed this manner. I started draw video-games characters of a famous title for kids and now I do my own characters, drawings & etc...
Because everything start with inspiration.

(This picture makes me sing "I see the light"), speaking of light, enlightenment is almost perfect (in the shoulder of Flynn there is a small area that is illuminated more, it's something I've seen in many models, on mine too.) that little mistake you can fix in photoshop (I do that, but I do not get perfect) the rest is beautiful and perfect.
e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="10" height="10" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="566" title="Bullet; Yellow"/> By the way this not only happens in areas of light, but also in shaded areas. I hope you continue doing such wonderful work like all I've seen, have very talented friend.

Not exactly a ship but a small rowboat from Nakao's model. Then the lanterns can be found here , the rest is MME magic
