Oh. I was wondering how big it was- if it was full size, say 6 inches, you'd have had to annul that wire so many times it would've just melted without doing anything! I love the piece though. Beautiful work. Whatever will you put in it?

This type of wirework does not work harden the wire very much and doesn't need annealing. So it is possible to make it as large as you like! The main reason it is small is due to the amount of time it takes

It's been two years, but I'm guessing that I used 18-16g for the core wire and 24g for the wrap wire

Mostly I have learned through books or tutorials and trial and error.
The Bead Bowl is not hard to make and the free tutorial can get you started making your own bowl. You can use a toy ball to help you shape your work as you weave if you need to
