this reminds me of my little scrub jay friend in my backyard. Whenever i work in the garden he always flies around and eats up all the bugs i dig up. He's gotten so comfortable with me that ive been able to hand feed him bugs and he's even landed on my head a few times

Yes, these European Robins are very bold.
I often had them pecking at the window when I was baking or running up to my hands when I was gardening...begging for worms & grubs. They are such beautiful little birds.
