Chapter 1
Entering the Feudal

It happened again, Amber had smashed her third alarm clock for the week. Getting up she looked at herself in the mirror and saw the same person that she saw every morning, a small girl that had brown curly, messy hair and brown eyes.
Amber started concentrating, like she was trying to remember something, she also had her eyes closed. When she opened her eyes again, her eyes and hair colour had changed. She now had long strait beautiful aquatic blue hair and silver eyes. Amber was different to everybody else, she was a wyvern and one of the few of her kind. After that she went strait into the normal morning routine that she did when she went to school. Amber left the house that she now lived in, in Tokyo and headed for school.
Amber originally lived in Victoria in a small town called Newborough. The life that she had there was not a good one and she was continuously picked on and sometimes the bulling got physical. She even changed her first name. Her mum disapproved, but Amber got the approval from her father. And when she got the chance, she got on to the first plane to Japan.
After a while she saw people giving her odd glances. Maybe having aqua blue hair and silver eyes was not the best idea.
‘No school for me today’ Amber thought to herself, heading the other way.
Amber had not been in Japan for a year but she knew the language. Amber knew where she was going, to an ancient shrine. The old man there told stories about demons, priestess, monks and demon slayers. Demons were a subject that Amber loved, so she went there anytime she could.
Minutes later she made it to her destination. Amber knocked on the door and a lady in her mid forties answered, it was Kagome’s mum.
“Ohh, hi Amber, shouldn’t you be at school today?” She asked Amber.
“Yeah, but I didn’t feel like it” Amber replied, shrugging her shoulders.
“Your mum wouldn’t be happy if she knew” Kagome’s mum told her.
“My mum’s not in Japan” Amber growled under her breathe.
Kagome’s eyes widened.
“So you live by yourself?” Kagome’s mum asked.
Amber just nodded her head, not wanting to talk about her past.
“Why didn’t you tell anyone?” Kagome’s mum asked, most likely wanting to know more about Ambers past.
“I don’t want to talk about it” Amber mumbled “I just came to say hi”.
“Oh, ok” Kagome’s mum said, knowing that Amber didn’t want to talk about it.
They both said their good-byes, and then Amber pretended to leave, but headed toward the old well. Something was special about the well, it seemed to draw Amber to it ever time that she was there.
When Amber got to the rim, she sat on the edge and looked into it, at its depth.
‘It looks great to fall into’ Amber thought.
Ever since Amber was around the age of ten she started to loss the will to live and thought about death a lot.
Minutes later Amber heard Kagome call out to her mum.
“Mum, I’ll be back in a few weeks” Kagome said.
Kagome dashed inside and got ready to jump into the well, all without noticing that Amber was there. When she did, it was too late. Kagome knocked Amber down the well with her taking her down into the warring era.
Before Amber knew what had happened, all these light appeared around her, then she landed softly on the ground next to Kagome.
‘That what I didn’t have in mind’ Amber thought to herself.
“Amber how could you be here?” Kagome asked, confused. Amber looked up and saw that there was no more roof over the well.
“Well, if you didn’t knock me down, then none of this would of happened” Amber growled, not looking at Kagome.
“Hey, your late” a voice said from the top of the well.
Amber and Kagome looked up and Amber knew strait away it was a hanyou, and a grumpy one.
“Oh great, Mr. grumpy hanyou comes to join the problem” Amber mumbled.
“Who are you calling grumpy” the hanyou yelled at Amber, jumping down to glare at her face-to-face.
“Ohhhhh, I’m scared” Amber said sarcastically, as if having a hanyou glare at her was something that happened everyday.
“Amber, do you even know where you are?” Kagome asked, worried if Amber was sick or something.
“No, do I look like I care?” Amber said, finally looking at Kagome. Kagome didn’t give her an answer, then Amber walked up to the inside edge of the well and started climbing up, out of the well.
“What are you doing” Kagome screamed at Amber “you could hurt yourself”.
‘Well that’s a good idea’ Amber thought to herself. Not long after getting out of the well, she headed west. Few seconds later Kagome came out of the well on the back on the hanyou.
“Kagome, who in seven hells is she?” The hanyou asked Kagome.
“Inuyasha, her name is Amber, she’s only been in Japan for a year” Kagome told Inuyasha. Amber paid no attention to what they were saying. Until.
“Hey Amber, where are you going?” Kagome asked.
“Anywhere but here” Amber grumbled thinking ‘What does she think she is, my mother’.
In seconds, before Amber could get away, the half demon, Inuyasha stood in front of her. Amber, ignoring Inuyasha, just walked around.
“Amber, you could get seriously hurt out there” Kagome called out to Amber.
Amber growled under her breathe, but it was loud enough for Inuyasha to hear.
“Kagome stay away from her, she’s not human” Inuyasha yelled. Kagome looked at Inuyasha shocked.
“What do you mean?” Kagome asked, confused on what was going on.
Amber started laughing and both Kagome and Inuyasha thought she was going mad.
“He’s right you know, I’m not human, I am infact a wyvern” Amber told them both. Two scaly wings appeared on her back then Amber completely transformed into her true self.
‘Ohhh, how good it feels to be in my true form again, just like putting on an old glove’ Amber thought to herself.
Before anything else could happen Inuyasha jumped at her with his sword drawn. Amber let out a snarl and dived out of the way.
“I knew this would happen” Amber growled, with tears running down her face. She was doing something that she had not done in a few years, crying. Inuyasha looked at Amber confused. A minute after Amber started crying, she went from her dragon form back into her human form. Amber was now crumpled on the ground, crying. Kagome seeing this, started feeling sorry for the crying Wyvern. She walked up to Amber and put an arm around her.
“Are you ok?” Kagome asked, still a little confused on the current events.
“I’m just a freak” Amber muttered under her breathe “no one wants me, even if they didn’t know me, just because I’m different”.
Something hit Inuyasha, maybe he past was like his, but maybe even a little worse.
“Hey, it’s ok” Inuyasha heard Kagome whisper to Amber.
“Why can’t someone put me out of my misery” Amber said to herself.
“You want to die?” Inuyasha said shocked. Amber gave him the ‘duh’ look.
“Inuyasha, I think its best that she comes with us” Kagome said, with puppy dog eyes. Inuyasha sighed.
“Fine, she can come” Inuyasha told Kagome.
Amber picked herself off the ground.
‘I feel really stupid, crying in front of people’ Amber thought to herself.
Amber started to follow Kagome and Inuyasha, who had started heading towards a village, which was what Kagome told Amber. For some odd reason, Amber’s dragon tail had not disappeared and swayed left to right. After entering the village, the three entered the hut and Amber was introduced to the rest of the group.
“You’re a wyvern, aren’t you?” Sango asked. Amber froze and her tail stopped swaying.
“How did you know?” Amber asked Sango.
“I saw your tail” Sango replied. Amber just gave an oh reply. Before anyone else could say anything, something grabbed a hold of Amber’s tail. Amber let out a yelp of surprise and saw that it was only Shippo dangling from her tail.
“I like your tail” Shippo told Amber, looking up at her. Amber gave Shippo a warm smile.
“It’s getting late guys, I think that we should get some sleep” Kagome suggested. Everyone agreed on that. They all went to sleep, Amber had her tail wrapped around her waist.
Miles away, Sesshoumaru picked up a odd scent. It smelt like a dragon, but one that he ever smelt before. It’s scent also had the smell of lavender and strawberries.
‘This Sesshoumaru has never smelt such a beautiful scent… wait did I just think that’ Sesshoumaru thought to himself, shaking his head.
He took in the scent and then realized that it was coming from the village that was nearby his half-brother’s forest. Sesshoumaru smiled.
‘Maybe it’s a good time to visit my half-brother again’ Sesshoumaru thought to himself.

Chapter 2
Meeting Sesshoumaru
When everyone woke up, they meet a hilarious sight. Amber was still asleep with her tail wrapped around herself, but the tip had somehow found its way into her mouth, it was kinda like she was sucking her thumb in her sleep, but instead of her thumb it was her tail. In a few seconds, the whole group, but Amber, was on the floor laughing. That woke Amber up.
“What are you guys laughing about?” Amber asked, the tip of her tail still in her mouth.
“The tip of your tail is in your mouth” Kagome laughed out. Amber noticed that and spat it out of her mouth.
“Not funny” Amber muttered
