Description The first piece of my new Slasher Horror collection, Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street, drawn out in pencil, detailed in black pen and charcoal and with lettering in Crayola Black

Freddy Krueger (who had a fight with...)

Background: The most notorious serial killer of his time, Freddy Krueger, aka the Springwood Slasher, reportedly killed between twenty and thirty children before his arrest. However, due to a mistake in the justice system, the child killer was released without charge. This angered his Springwood neighbours, who tracked him down and burnt him alive
Inhabited now by the Dream Demons and reliant on the fear of children to sustain him, Freddy's new playground is the nightmares of 'his children', where what he does to them is reality. His iconic killer right hand and ear piercing screech noise they create is his ultimate tool for spreading the fear as well as his weapon of choice
Freddy has the power to manipulate dreams via entering his victims' minds and learning what truly scares them. The more afraid of him one is, the more deadly he becomes. While in the dream world, Freddy can do just about anything, from throwing things around to causing things to materialise at will. Anything he puts his diabolical mind to.
There are theories to suggest that Freddy is the ancient embodiment of pure evil, returning again and again in different forms in different generations. And that his evil is contained through the art of storytelling, but when the story grows old or is censored too much, the evil can break free and enter our own reality.
Due to the nature of his first death, Freddy is highly pyrophobic. A strong minded person is able to take control of their dreams and use their own mental power against his control, but Freddy is a master of his trade making this very difficult. The only way to truly kill him is to grab ahold of him and wake up, thusly dragging him into the real world and cancelling out his powers completely, making him as weak as any other human.
