I want to put a caption under it but for the life of me I don't know what to call it. Please give me an idea...

I'm sure you've found a name by now... but when I looked at it this time, "Dancer" came to mind.

Anyway... I actually came here for this....
I would like to let you know that I've featured your incredible art in my journal. [link] If you do not want me to do this, please let me know and I will remove it.

Stunningly photorealistic effect, man! It's enough to make a sculptor drool...

Lovely, lovely. I don't know why but when I looked at this "the witching hour" popped into my head. I agree with the deviant who called it a sculpture. That's a very good description.

I found this featured in 's news article.

Thanks for your comment Isn't it funny how fractals can bring different images to different people? I was thinking of some kind of ornate lattice as I was developing it. Where the dickens does "The Witching Hour" come from?

No earthly idea! It just popped into my head. That sometimes happens. It happened recently for me... I called a fractal "Rocks for Brains" just because it popped into my head. *grin* Maybe I'm not totally sane? I think I'm getting a bit punch drunk with tiredness here.

That's a really unusual design - I love the red light at the top and the way the frame goes over the fractal

Thanks. At first the fractal was just within the frame but you can easily imagine how wrong that looked

fantastic - i personally find that this watermarks in the middle are extremely extracting...you could cry if you see wonderful pieces like this and then these watermarks straight in the middle...no no no no....

WiseWanderer In reply to MarkusVogt [2007-06-16 13:16:35 +0000 UTC]

I know what you mean... usually I have a smaller fullview with no watermark, but the detail in this is sooooo beautiful. The print render is 6000 x 9000, now there's a sight for sore eyes.
