Description
This is my design for a Boomerang card, for NRC Next’s Visual Column. Designers create Boomerang-card sized illustrations/designs for a daily view on current events in the news. While reading NRC Next I stumbled upon a huge article on Children massively being accused of witchcraft in Africa. Instead of blaming the old hag for all misery in the world, children are seen as the cause of the problems in countries like Congo and Nigeria. The result is 25.000 to 50.000 kids on the streets and in shelters (70% for their witchcraft). I never heard of this phenomenon before and decided to do some research and use it for this assignment. I will upload my findings at [link] in a while . I will do more research on this matter in the future.
