Ho boy, I got some explaining to do with this one...

Last old sketch I'll upload today. This is from September 2014, an extremely rough sketch of prince Armand and Alys going for a dragoturkey ride. This was based on a chapter from my 'Blank Canvas ' fic before it was removed during the revision of the fic in 2015.

To keep it short; Armand literally bumps into Alys after she had a freak out in the Dofus chamber and being unaware of the occurrence, he wrongfully assumes she was hiding from the overbearing servants Renate and Canar. Guessing she was trying to dodge her responsibilities like he was doing (royal duties, ew), Armand drags Alys with him to go dragoturkey riding and blow off some steam while taking some well needed time away from the palace.

Due to this chapter's happenings, people believed Armand was taking Alys on a date and some began shipping the two together, completely misinterpreting what I was trying to do with that chapter (have them bond a little, build up some trust to then have it be shattered by the whole Qilby betrayal thing; character development, weeeh). I then realized I wasn't staying true to Armand's character with him being nice and open to Alys and to fix that mistake (and to also avoid further Double A shipping), I removed the chapter and completely rewrote it. Dragoturkey ride: gone. Armand continued to be a temperamental jerk in my fics, with a certain prejudice towards Eliatropes because Eliatrope-related stuff sure likes to beat Sadida up for some reason.

I really wanted to finish this sketch back then but the realization of how much I screwed up with Armand had me lay this sketch aside and not touch it again. I still like it so here it is in all its roughness! It's so rough that Alys is missing both her arms!
