Currently having a fever but I managed to shake this one out of my stupid brain. TheNor made a comment on Ya Jealous, Pipsqueak? which I had to draw a response to, as silly as it is.Why would you touch the human hating skeleton, Nor? Why???
But it's okay, all hands, fingers and noses are accounted for after Rewind's little outburst o.o; He's usually not this angry or aggressive, I promise *coughs*

Aah, how to summarize it without making it longwinded, hmm...
Simply put, UndeRewind is a timeline in which a ridiculous amount of (corrupted) Genocide runs went wrong. The growing corruption has erased and mutated data from the timeline's code, such as locations, magic and creatures/characters, and with each RESET, it got worse. The timeline/world is literally falling apart; one or two more of these corrupted RESETs and it's gone forever. Rewind (Sans) managed to put a stop to the spreading corruption by finding a (somewhat) permanent solution to prevent Chara/Frisk from returning/RESETing after defeating them, but he lost many of his friends to the erased data/corruption, including his brother, Papyrus. He has not much left to fight or live for. He did manage to salvage Papyrus' SOUL after the final RESET thanks to his altered magic abilities (controlling but a small fraction of time, hence the name), but without any more possible RESETs, he can't retrieve Papyrus' lost body.
After a long time of solitude in a near-empty and corrupted world, Rewind eventually finds a way to travel through the Multiverse and sets off on a quest to find a willing (Papyrus) host to fix his brother's broken SOUL and grant him a new body, and to find a way to restore the corrupted/erased data of his own timeline.
