.:: In A Shimmer ::.Gerbera Daisies must be made of magic...It isn't news that I like taking and editing photos of gerberas, is it? So here's another one: there's a lot of Photoshop postprocessing behind this final image, mainly focusing on the colour correction and saturation, BUT the real flower is really pink and the strong light, unfocused background and bokeh were obtained in-camera using the Manual mode and not digitally applied later.

Very beautiful! The colors are very striking. I love how there is a pink tint behind the flower it kind of makes the flower pop out in a way. The pink on the flower is amazing and how clear this photo is, is very striking. The lighting from the top of the flower or off to the side kind of is very nice and makes the flower look like it is being put on the spotlight. I love how you can see the little fur type things on the stem part of the flow very nice. Keep up the amazing work.

I love the soft look to this image, not focus wise so don't get me wrong, the colors and the way the blend is lovely. Add to that the beautiful bokeh.
