Kouri creates small, bullet-sized orbs of water that can be used as projectiles to deter or inflict harsh damage on an opponent. While at his peak mana, the projectiles can penetrate flesh and be as deadly as a real bullet. When his mana reserves are low, he's lucky if he's able to even turn them into harmless orbs. When he starts puffing out vapor, game over.

Luminous Shield

Kouri produces a pearly white, semi-translucent shield over an ally, blocking them from harm. With a quick cast, the shield lasts about 2mins. If the attack was hard enough to break through it in one go, it would shatter the barrier and use up the duration. If he tries to sustain the shield longer than the 2 mins, it will remain in place for an extended time, but he has low mana reserves and will exhaust easily.

No matter what the situation calls for, he is usually able to adjust to his surroundings and get by with the bare minimum if need be. Even in the face of adversity, he will remain flexible as to remain alive and strong for the sake of the Black Emperor. Besides, there are always plenty of resources around, if one knows how to find them. Due to his time of travelling alone in the world, Kouri gained an insightful view of how the world works and how he must behave in order to survive. One must be courteous, deceptive, and attentive. Though there is a fine line between his motives and his real heart, his attentiveness is usually on point. Especially if he's loyal to a person. He'll support someone to the bitter end if they have been loyal in return.

History

In Kouri's early life, things were pretty average as he grew up on the outskirts of Catnip Village. He had a loving family. An average-sized clan. He had happy days 7 times out of 10. It was all pretty good. As he grew older though, certain things became apparent. Not all was as happy as it seemed and there was a growing discord among the populace. Slowly, Kouri was indoctrinated into following the ways of the Black Emperor and he had begun broadening his horizons with various life experiences. He listened to the chatter of those around him and pieced together what seemed to be a much larger picture. As he saw it, the Black Emperor needed to be protected at all costs and the reign of the White Emperor needed to finally end.

Upon reaching the age of 18, His elder brother got into a scuffle with a group of avid zealots of the White Emperor's faction. After that, things turned sour and his family needed to abandon their familiar hometown and relocate to a more secluded place. Some clan members had been lost in the fights, but those who made it out alive eventually, they found themselves deep within the thick of Fluff Forest. At first, things were rough. The forest was massive, uncharted, and dangerous to those who don't know what they're doing. By staying close to their hidden encampment, they were able to avoid the prying eyes of the zealots and at least practice their rituals and activities in peace. Kouri's clan managed to settle in and mark safe pathways through the woods, but this was far from a permanent solution. How could they reliably serve the Black Emperor while just hiding in the woods? They needed to move on and rebuild themselves.

The following year, his elder brother met and married with the daughter of a nearby clan who was passing through for the forest's goods. The two clans formed a valuable alliance and both family branches gained a newfound strength. Kouri's clan moved on once more and settled in with their new kinsmen at Tuna Village. Kouri also gained something good from this union. He found a new mentor to guide him. An information broker, known as Marina the Merry. She had such a way of collecting valuable information from others and had so many delicious ways to use it against her enemies. To faithfully serve the Black Emperor, he needed to learn everything he could from her. And he did just that. Even earned his mark the following year on his 20th birthday. He was a long way from being the Black Emperor's confidante, but he always kept that dream alive inside. In his mind, there was nobody more dedicated, reliable, and loyal to the Black Emperor than himself.

In the following years since being marked, Kouri worked diligently alongside Marina. Thanks to the surplus of tourists to the village, they had plenty of beneficial cargo and information moving through to keep them busy for years. As more new whispers circulated through the popular tourist locale, it seemed as though Kouri had been needed elsewhere. It was time to move on, and this time, Kouri was to go alone. The whispers led him to Felida City. Something big was going to happen and he wanted to be a part of it. Upon arrival, the grandeur of this city was unlike anything he'd ever seen before. It was bound to be exciting. And all he had to do, was keep his mind open, and his ears ready.
