She has no right eye, but her left eye glows a bright gold, and she wields a sword with a flowering vine entwined around the blade. Her church has many orphanages and hospitals. It is said she removed her right eye and turned it into a powerful magic orb that can only be touched by the chosen. The main church has an orb that they claim is Alorel’s eye.

    History:

Tivael was born in Girasol to Amarin, an elven lady with noble blood, and Ilian, a traveling peddler that left his mother far behind the night after he was conceived. Amarin's family, embarrassed about his existence, hid her pregnancy, and left him on the doorstep of one of Alorel's orphanages. Amarin could only leave him a carved leaf of goldwood before he was taken away.
The two priests than ran the orphanage happily took him in, and named him after a heroic cleric that had served Alorel hundreds of years before. He lived there happily for fourteen years, often causing trouble, when one day he took one of his friends and decided to sign up to become part of the city guard. Both he and his friend were refused on account of their ages, sizes, and complete lack of knowledge on how to wield a sword.
His friend easily gave up the dream, but Tivael took the refusal as a sign that he only needed to prove himself. He stole a sword from the room of one of the priests, and headed off into the woods to slay a beast that had been killing and eating local farm animals. He searched long into the evening, and just when the sun was about to set he found a spindly shadow ghoul chewing the throat out of a sheep with a mouth full of sharp teeth. The sight frightened him, but he knew it was too late to run when it sniffed the air and slowly turned to face him. It screamed, and charged at him, and he barely managed to hold the heavy sword in front of him to block it. It scratched and snapped at him, and his clumsy wielding of the sword was not enough to hold it off. It scratched out his right eye, and was nearly about to do the same to his throat when Lia, one of the priests that cared for him, arrived and killed the ghoul with divine magic. His wounds were healed as he was brought back to the orphanage, but she was unable to save his eye.
2 more years passed, and the priests at Alorel's main church recieved a prophecy that told them the one that would be able to use Alorel's eye would be found at one of her orphanages. They visited each one, taking children that they suspected could be the one they were searching for. Taking the 16 year old's missing eye as a possible sign, Tivael was one of the ones chosen to go with them. There he was taught divine magic, and he happened to have a natural talent for it. His teachers grew more and more convinced that he might be the one, until one day, they took him hidden inner chamber, where the magical orb itself was mounted on a pedestal. Eager to be the chosen one, he reached to take it without any convincing.
Pain shot through his body as soon as his hand curled around the magical orb. His right and and forearm sizzled and burned, and screaming echoed from inside his mind. He stumbled back and fell to the ground, clutching his burned hand. His teachers were disappointed, but they led him back, and let him continue his education to become a priest. His hand still retains the scars from that day, and he covers them up with a glove.
He was not able to touch Alorel's eye and remain unscathed, but ever since he made the attempt, he began to hear whisperings in the back of his mind. They started as quiet things at first. He'd hear scraps of them when he witnessed something unjust, or when he saw someone clearly in need of a priests help. Over time though, they began to grow louder, sometimes growing incessant until he did as the whispers wanted. Rather than believe he had lost his mind, he decided that Alorel must be speaking to him, and he hated it to the point that he once tried to destroy the orb. The whispers, of course, wouldn't let him.
He left the main church as soon as he education was complete. The rules and ceremony there were stifling to him, and he felt only contempt for most of the priests. He started a small church of his own on the outskirts of Girasol, and lived there in relative peace. It was during this time that he met Atius, and befriended the man.
When Atius first approached him about joining the new guild, he was tempted to refuse. It sounded like a futile effort to him, no matter the good intentions behind it, and he wasn't sure he wanted the attention it would bring him. Alorel's voice grew loud, however, whirling in his mind like a storm until he uncomfortably accepted. He still has his doubts, but consoles himself with the fact that there is money in it for him.

☉Vas: A instantly cast glowing sword that takes the form of the one Alorel holds is formed, and sent towards the enemy. Its damage is dependent on his divinity stat, and is 3x more effective against demons and the undead. It has a 10 meter range. 3 uses a day.

☉Alorel's Gift: After a 10 minute casting time, light takes liquid form in the palm of Tivael's hand. When drunk or applied to an injury, it will completely heal any flesh wound, or broken bones. It does not work on illness or poison, and this spell can only be cast when Tivael has full concentration. 6 uses a day, and this spell can be cast on himself.

Salvium Ana: After a 1 minute casting time, a cage of light is formed that will trap one demon, fae, or undead for 10 minutes. RP example:

“History in the making?” Tivael mostly ignored Roni, merely offering her a slice of orange. He stuck a slice in his own mouth, and chewed thoughtfully for a while. “How about no,” he finally said after swallowing the tart fruit. “Nobody struggles more than those involved with history.”

The whispering that sometimes terrorized his mind stirred, and he paled. It first started as two voices, then suddenly bloomed into hundreds until the turning into a storm that only he could hear. Go with him. It murmured. Say yes, go with him.

“If I suspected it was a bad idea before, I’m sure of it now,” he muttered under his breath.
