Description
It might seem odd that I actually made something like this. I know, I'm kinda surprised too...
I've always wanted to walk on water without falling in.. But well, that is not going to happen xD. As a kid, I was inspired by water lilies, lotuses and koi ponds. I was going to add koi fish under there but it would make this drawing look confusing, as if it isn't confusing enough ?.?
This drawing broke my old record with about 6 hours of drawing. My old one was like, 3 hours. Most drawings take me around 45 minutes-1 hour 30 minutes. I spent a lot pf time trying to figure out how things should work; how to add effects, how to shade, etc..
Last thing I want to mention just if anyone has this question in mind. This IS my drawing, just with another style of mines. I have several that I'm really close to and I've always wanted to make something like this. This was the style I was supposed to work with, but was too detailed to do on iPad (I got a drawing tablet a month ago). Since you all seem to be alright with me constantly switching styles, I just let that be. It is a great opportunity for me to experience different ways of drawing and learn all sorts of things on digital art. It gives me the chance to work on all styles until I'm comfortable with one. I doubt that I will ever have an official style.
I hope you all have a great week! I might be late to respond to comments and notes, but I'll try my best to do so as soon as possible! I really should be studying for my midterms.

In general, I very much like this piece. from the flowers, to the bright colors, to the entire technique of the fur. The reflections and shading are simply wonderful. This piece is a beautiful blend of realistic and cartoony, and the ripples in the water add a nice effect, as well. I especially like the face of the fox.
On the other hand, I think the picture is a bit confusing to look at, what with the tilted "camera" angle, which is not necessarily a bad thing, just something to think about.
All in all, a great piece in my opinion.

A very dynamic piece. I like how diagonal you made some of the background elements in order to emphasize movement. I also like how you made sure to add the subjects reflection. The ripples are very nice and simple. You also added a sense of direction with leaves and flowers as it leads the eyes to look around the background before looking at the subject or vice versa. Overall, you did a great a job.

Thanks! xD
I'd love to do a tutorial, but I'm not really sure how to yet! I experimented things by trial and error sort of thing.
