◽ Has very big hooves for a thoroughbred. While this may not be aesthetically pleasing and gives her a bit of a clumsy appearance, it gives Venus more balance and also surefootedness.

♘ INTERIEUR
Temperament
Despite nobody knowing about the wondrous D&D item that shares a name with this horse, it is a classic fit for her. Not only is Venus a very beautiful mare, she is also a very moody wildcard with many different flavours. While she is generally very sweet and kind, sometimes Venus seems to be more on the difficult side. Not only does she become really huffy and aloof if this happens, but also pulls faces that could scare the most experienced equestrian. This is all a show though, she would never hurt anybody - Venus really has a lot of bark but no bite. She probably does this to establish dominance as the mare will stop acting out like this when the targeted person is not impressed by it. Venus is really unproblematic under the saddle, happily doing what she is told and rarely going against her rider’s wishes. If she acts up like she is infamous for, she also calms down quite quickly if handled correctly.
Fears
◽ Venus is really afraid of boars and pigs in general. This fear stems from her and Sophia stumbling over a boar and her piglets on a ride in the woods once. Apparently the heated flight stuck with the mare.
◽ Really dislikes locusts and similar animals if they suddenly jump on her.
Other
◽ Venus is very drawn to water and loves going for a dip in summer. When she was younger, she tended to dart into bodies of water even if her rider tried their best to keep her from doing so. Nowadays, she is more reserved and patiently asks for permission - and may slowly get closer to the water so her rider doesn’t notice.
◽ Goes absolutely crazy when turned out on the meadow. Running, bucking, rearing, play fighting - Venus really makes the most of her free time, sometimes to the dismay of her flock members that may not be up for her temperament. She also loves to walk after people walking or driving past her pasture.
◽ It is important to keep her on a longer rein when riding in nature as Venus is prone to grabbing grass without warning. Sophia already had a few falls caused by Venus suddenly jerking her head forward to grab a bite of grass. The only thing that helps there is a muzzle - but it will lead to her being really huffy.
Likes: Juicy treats, cats, dogs, bright colours, summer, spring, going for swims (with or without rider), having her food sliced, being out on the pasture, having her mane braided, wearing matching tack, music playing while she is working, being the dominant party.
Dislikes: People & horses touching her tail, the farrier, wearing her muzzle, harsh bits, being lunged, gag bits, heavy rainfalls, thunder, being sprayed with fly spray, difficult terrain, pastel colours, martingales, obnoxious stallions.
