The first thing people notice after meeting Sophie is that she exudes a welcoming and playful attitude. She seems cheeky and rebellious at times, but she always treats her peers respectably with high regards. However, she is a sweet-talker for the sake of being likable and achieving her end-goals, not out of some instinctive goodness of her nature. She mostly puts on this show with authoritative figures that intimidate her or people from whom she has to extract something for herself. As for with someone who doesn't fall in either of those categories, she's very much her laid-back and sarcastic self.

Sofie is a strange case. While most people consider a high emotional intelligence with sentiment and empathy to be a positive thing, she is avoidant of such qualities in herself. She strives for a logical mind pure of emotions, for she believes genuine sentiments to be useless in achieving her goals. Why need it when you can fake it? Not to mention having the real thing would be a burden in many ways. As such she tries to be a cunning and perceptive person, psychoanalyzing those around her for fun, though also prompting a perpetual wariness and curiosity. In addition to her sly nature, she is always striving to better herself, which allows her to be open-minded when faced with new information and opportunities, maybe a little too much so to the point of being easily influenced, and finding herself being the devil's advocate often.

If you know her well enough, past her built exterior (of modesty), she’s a confused spirit often switching between levels of egos. She is often overly prideful of herself, though she never acts like it. After all, no one likes an arrogant person. This causes her to always be comparing herself to other people. Everything becomes a competition. And when she "loses" to other people, whether another girl was prettier, or whether one showed skills equal to hers- her ego gets hurt and she spirals into self-doubt and deprecation before the cycle repeats itself. This type of mindset causes a kind of derealization, where she sees everything almost as a play of some sort. Choices become a game and everyone becomes characters...and of course, she is the protagonist! With that ego, one would assume her to be a manipulative exhibitionistic narcissist, so it's no surprise that Sofie is an attention-seeker. However, such a desire for attention actually stems from more innocent motives, from not wanting to miss out on fun to simply being bored.

But don't worry! Even if for the wrong reasons, she is always kind and ready-to-help-others. Who knows? You may even earn her genuine respect if you show her your strengths.

Tl;dr: An average friendly person, with bonus of being open-minded. But it's all for show and surface level. Very prideful, but if you prove some sort of threat her ego gets hurt easily, suggesting her confidence is situational. Of course, she doesn't show it and acts very modest.

Tl;dr: As a human received attention for her plein-air work. As a dog she didn't stand out, and did nothing significant. Pulled a Chris McCandless after being frustrated with her terrible academic grades. Returned after realizing her inability to be self-sufficient in this day and age. With persuasion from her friends, decided to pursue a career in plein-air and took some part-time jobs.
