I'm not really happy with this drawing.Don't like it very much, guess I need a lot of practise in using color pencils.

I am not good enough to crit your art, but I would say that there is not as much contrast in the light and dark in this picture, maybe why you are not happy with it. Otherwise, it looks just like Johnny

Man kann erkennen das es Johnny Depp ist, auch wenn es eher wie eine etwas in der zukunft liegende Version von ihm aussieht

I think it's amazing. I'm not so good at color myself but this one looks really good. I do agree with Aricson that maybe you should try softer paper to not get the roughness in the drawing. But like she said I also really like the colors you've chosen. Worth a

I think this work is definately an improvement. The colors are very unified. I would work in scultping forms and masses in tone so you get a more 3 dimensional look (especially in rendering hair). Also I would recommend you not to use pastel paper, as the surface is a a little too rough for color pencils to blend smoothly and execute details. Try working on a smoother surface and search for a color pencil technique called 'burnishing' that will give you very soft, smooth and subtle skin and hair tones.
But overall, looks great!! You've captured his likeness extremely well. The colors you've choosen look realistic and dramatic!

aber irgendetwas stimmt nicht ganz mit diesem bild
ich glaube das der abstand zwischen kinn und mundnzuweit auseinander liegt

So genial finde ich das gar nicht. Vielleicht sollte ich jetzt was malen wo man niemanden wieder erkennen muΓ. So ne kleine Elfe oder Fee auf einem Pilz wΓ€r ja auch was schΓΆnes.

Ich hab an dem Bild schon einiges geΓ€ndert, aber in Farbe geht das leider nicht mehr so leicht zu Γ€ndern wie mit Bleistift, das ist der Nachteil dran. Und bevor ich es noch mehr versau laΓ ich es einfach so.

i'm not sure what that is but go to [link] and search for prisma color colorless blenders..
basically they are a clear wax pencil that picks up the pencil and blends it together, it fills in all the texture in the paper too, they are super useful but you go through a lot of them!
