i have a question. i went to the reference link, and i saw some photos i'd like to draw, so do i need to ask permission to draw them? and if i do, how?

I don't ask for permission, I tried some time ago but never get an answer. I guess because the most are Russian photographers, don't understand English. So I draw it just with link to the reference site.

I don't know how other artist do it. But I use a tissue for the shadings and I do lots of little circles with this tissue to get a smooth shading.
Hope it helps! Oh and I only use mechanical pencils for my pencil portraits.

been missing just late sorry.
have build myself a new drawing room over the last month so have some were better than ever to draw now.
still get a buzz out of viewing your new work for the 1st time as always.

well before marion i had a little room just big enough to stand up in and strech your arms out, but now i have a double garage for my 2 cars with a drawing table in the corner looking out over the countryside to draw in, with a great sound system as music is very important to me and i love getting away from it all in there with my cars and to draw.
just an idea, but if you want to send me your e mail by private note on deviant i will send you some photo's of what i have.
if not thats fine no problem.
