Hehe, thank you! That's what I love about my film camera; my digital just doesn't get the DOF nearly as nicely.

Yeah, I have to agree. I've got a Canon 400D and sometimes I swear it won't LET me take a photo because it thinks it knows better!

I'm in Australia, so not sure how much you would pay. They're now selling the 450D for what I paid for my 400D, which was about $1150, with the twin lens kit. I'm pretty sure there's a 500D now as well.
