Matt's part time job should be to walk around hospitals keeping people in good spirits. Look at how good he is at it.----
Originally, I was trying to touch upon the subject of Mello's indestructible hair. It's been said time and time again, but I'll yelp about it once more:
Face + helmet + 'splosion = third-degree burns
Hair + nothing + 'splosion = not even a singe
Is Death Note telling us that helmets are useless? Or is Mello's hair made of pure gold? Perhaps Mello's hair was god's ultimate creation and he thought it shouldn't go to waste...
Or maybe it was burnt and Mello started wearing a wig after that...

Now that I think about it...his gas mask must've melted onto his face because of the explosion but his mask didn't have a back just straps so his hair might have burnt where the strap was but the rest of his hair covers his baldness. .....I know I know I think too much.
Anyone noticed how he suddenly stopped taking care of his hair after the explosion. His hair was always so neatly combed before that and after he started hanging out with Matt again he's like oh fuck that I'm not combing my hair! Probably a result of Matt telling him his hair looks awesome. He went from Legolas to Aragorn.
