I loved the story for steven episode. Nothing perfect lasts forever, but there is beauty in the finiteness. I like to think that the gems really treasure the time they spent with greg. He's not a bad human as far as they go. This picture was so relaxing to do. Now I'm off to work on steven bomb fanart <3 Let me know if you guys have any steven bomb requests

Awww this looks so precious! I can honestly picture the gems and Greg spending some quality time like this. It's just so cute.
And I really like the art style you used to draw them here; though if you don't mind me saying, I think Rose's hand that's on Pearl could use a bit of a touch-up. It looks a little odd.
But aside from that this really looks beautiful and you should be proud of yourself for making this!

nah, he's still kickn'. What I meant was "the time they spent with greg while rose was still around". After steven was born I really think he distanced himself and the gems isolated themselves from him too. The dynamic between them since rose left is complicated. That's why he doesn't come around much unless steven is there and it's kind of awkward between them when they do interact. But when Rose was still there I think the five of them were really close

No dude, he wasn't even in the episode, unless you count the new opening. It had practically nothing to do with him, withery's just referring to him in the past, when they used to hang out with him more when Rose was still around.
