Well, I'm thoroughly considering joining smoke filled sky after seeing all the lovely manips and people here that belong to it. I'm a long-time role player, so it'd be nice for me to get back into the swing of it. However, I am conflicted with time, since I have to balance my studies of the humanities, medical, and other work with it, so that's going to be pretty difficult. I still think I should make an effort though, so sfs'ers, expect to see me there sometime soon, with this boy, Asphyxiation.
I was /truly/ inspired by the stock provider's lovely background, and the intense gaze of the wolf was too lovely to pass up. I like the end of this, and although I'm not totally satisfied with it, I suppose it's good enough, and I do like it. I have some issues with the smoke, but it seems to have dissipated ( har har. punny, huh? ) somewhat. The wolf's coloration, highlights from the fire, and smoke that I put around it also gave me issues, and being the lazyass I am, I eventually just went 'screw it', so there you have it.
Also, if you haven't seen Serj Tankian's music video for Empty Walls, it's amazing - the man plays all the musical and vocal parts for it, he's extraordinarily talented.
One last note - aren't you proud? I kept my promise - here's a non-white character in a non-blue/icy/stormy background! But it isn't up to my normal caliber, so... Even trade?

This is a amazing picture
I really like the atmosphere and the colours of the piece; the wolf looks almost...silky or something. It's a really nice effect. For your fourth piece uploaded...wow. I am going to be stalking you your work like a hawk, if you don't mind me saying!
And you really should consider joining SFS. It's an amazing site full of amazing people, and I love being there as a member. Maybe only join one wolf, and see how you go?

Hehe, the colors on the wolf took me forever to master, and I still don't think I got the highlights from the fire down just right, but hey, it was late. xD And baww, that's so nice of you to say. But sure, we can stalk each oth- other's work. Dual-stalking, I like it.

Thank you very much! And hehe, I'm not /that/ awesome, it was already there and in a ring-like pattern, so I decided to go for it. Was rather difficult with the high grasses and so I had to repaint a considerable part of the background, but I'm hoping it's not too noticeable. D':
