No.. I haven't played any parts of Kao The Kangaroo and Raymen series. Really... so why I made that shitpost comics that took my 2 weeks of life? Well.. during drawing my artworks I am listening sometimes YouTube's channels about games - mostly polish channels like TVGry, ZagrajnikTV, arhn.eu, BartekGM and NRGeek. And whole my knowledge comes from those channels.

If we are talking about Kao and Rayman, both series have cult status in Poland*.. and everything what I am saying depends on polish perspective... OK? For many polish people Kao The Kangaroo ended in 2005 after Kao The Kangaroo 3 :The Mystery of Volcano and that title and character were dead whereas these same people believed that someday UBISOFT seeing succes of refreshed Crash and Spyro (and other platform games at all) would draw from limbo character of Rayman and announce his next adventures in 3D. You can imagine how enermous surprise was announcement works on Kao The Kangaroo 4 by TATE Interactive in November 2020**. Considering that both titles were rivals in 00' decade in Poland those news are one punch for Rayman... Another slap on face is knowledge that Kao The Kangaroo 2 is probably the biggest RIP-OFF of Rayman 2*** Yes... Kao in second part of his franchise is literally Rayman in kangaroo fursuit. First part of Kao is a folky mix of Croc and Crash Bandicoot but parts 2 and 3 are 99% Rayman with different plot with elements from such games like Crash Bandicoot, Ty The Tasmanian Tiger, Legends of Zelda and Sly Cooper that contains leftover 1%.

In other words - folky, low-budget Rip-Off got continuation that nobody had expected.

So idea for this comics came to me when I saw first announcement in 2020.. and I rearranged that idea by whole 2021 until Tate realeased official trailer and free DEMO on Steam****. In that moment I got motivation to make that concept real. To be honest I realised uploading this, that I could close everything in one picture... but.. screw this, at least I had occasion to play with "lazy backgrounds" in GIMP.
