My first attempt of captuing a sunrise (4:45am start).

This version of the shot is a HDR image made from bracketed exposures.

Which do you prefer?

This and other recent shots in my Gallery are the results of my first attempt at a Sunrise. I use a Lee Soft Grad filter, but I know I needed a hard grad to control the bright sky - unfortunately they were not in stock so had to make do

I need more practice - but maybe after I recover from the early start
